1-a. PROMISSORY MEMORANDUM
Dated November 15, 1591
(The year of TENSHO, late era of MUROMACHI dynasty of Japan)
Document produced by a certain Yoshimasa, from his autograph, he was assumed to be one of the feudal lord families of the Satomi around the area promising Suzuki Uma-No-Suke that a full reward would given upon his fulfillment (to conquer the conflict) when Suzukis reinforcement of any kind would lead his triumph.

2. A LETTER OF THE HIGH RANK OFFICIAL LADY(Dated November 20, 1584)
Writer (secretary name) unknown however the name under the official stamp read “TSUBONE”, the general term of high ranking lady that clearly indicated the content of this letter was dictated to the writer from her superior. The content described that since Kanamachi had become her territory, Suzuki should directly pay tribute to her from this time on.
Note that at the time of November 1584, the Suzuki had already been called “NANUSHI”, the village head *.

To become a village head as well as the land lord, Suzuki family should have settled at Kanamachi approximately a hundred years before this date.
3. A letter of the lady of high rank official(Dated November 20, 1584)
This letter was addressed from the lady of the lord to two persons.One of the addressee was Suzuki Uma-No-Suke and the other was Nakaya Jiro-Zayemon although the signature of the lady was not appeared in the document.This lady of the lord ordering in the letter that she had received the advantage of exemption for a fine from her lord consequently both two men were free from the troubles paying a fine to the third parties like before. In case of any order come from the third party or even from her lord, both should not have to obey the order unless both had received direct order from her to do so.From the content and the way of writing, this letter was written by the very high ranking lady.
